Upload a drawing. Get it back marked up.

It checks a drawing against itself and its own notes, and hands back your PDF with every finding boxed on the printed value. Each finding is read twice before you see it.

real issue found per sheet, on released drawings it had never seen.

88%

of the findings it shows are real or worth a query.

0.17

false alarms per sheet: about one every six sheets.

From the thorough check on 86 released vessel sheets from 34 projects, none used to build it, every finding checked by hand. A quick check takes minutes a sheet; the thorough check takes longer and goes deeper.

2What it checks

A drawing, checked against itself and its own notes.

Pressure vessels and heat exchangers

Thorough check · each colour is its box on your PDF
Unfinished entriesValues marked HOLD or an open hold list, placeholders such as xx or TBA, and required design-data or table fields left blank.
Values that disagreeThe same quantity given two different values on the sheet: a nozzle size in the schedule and the loads table, a thickness in a detail and the material list.
Hydrotest pressureA test pressure below what the design code on the sheet requires for its MAWP, or shop and site test pressures that do not follow the sheet’s own notes.
Code and rating rulesMAWP below design pressure, joint efficiency that does not match the radiography, a flange class too low for the pressure at temperature, a code paragraph that does not exist.
Weights and capacityWeights or capacity that do not add up with each other or with the vessel’s size.
ReferencesA referenced document that belongs to other equipment, or the same document cited with different revisions.
Dimensions not givenA nozzle with no position, orientation, projection or neck wall anywhere on the sheet, a listed part without a size, an attachment without a position.

Single-part fabrication drawings

Quick check
Holes and slots without a sizeA hole or slot is drawn but no diameter, slot size or callout gives its size.
Corners and bends without a radius, chamfer or angleA rounded or cut corner with no size, or a bent part with no bend angle or radius.
Dimensions that don’t add upA chain of dimensions adds up to a different number than the overall dimension it spans.
Title block disagrees with the drawingThe size, length or thickness in the title block differs from the dimensions drawn.

Not checked yet: strength calculations (shell and head thickness, nozzle reinforcement), welds and NDT beyond the design data, and checks across sheets. We list only checks that held up when measured; the rest stay off until they do.

3On released drawings

Mistakes that had already gone out.

All five were on drawings that had already been released, and each was confirmed by an engineer. These are the mistakes that come back later as a revision round, a held shipment or refabrication.

4How a check runs

Four steps, and your engineer has the last word.

1

Upload

One sheet or a set, as the PDF you issue.

2

Quick or thorough

Minutes a sheet for the quick check; longer and deeper for the thorough one.

3

Review

Each finding boxed on the value. Keep it or dismiss it, and add a note.

4

Download

Your marked-up PDF for Acrobat or Bluebeam, and the list as a spreadsheet.

5Questions

What checkers ask first.

Which drawings can it check?

Pressure-vessel and heat-exchanger general arrangement sheets, with the thorough check, and single-part fabrication drawings. Each sheet is checked on its own.

Does it change our drawing?

No. You get your own PDF back with boxes drawn on top, ready for Acrobat or Bluebeam. The drawing itself is never edited, and an engineer decides on every finding.

How many false alarms should we expect?

On 86 released vessel sheets from 34 projects it had never seen, 88% of the findings it showed were real or worth a query: about 0.17 false alarms per sheet, or one every six sheets.

How long does a check take?

A quick check takes minutes a sheet. The thorough check takes longer and goes deeper; sheets in a set are checked side by side.

What happens to the files?

Checks keep no files. Logs hold a file’s size and fingerprint, never a drawing number. On your own installation, records stay on your infrastructure.

Next step

Send us a drawing you already released.

We’ll run it through the checker and walk you through every box on your own sheet.
